The Pittsburgh Super Stroll is a community and family oriented event where everyone is invited to dress up as their favorite superhero and go on a 1.5 mile adventure with us around the University of Pgh campus. Along the way of the walk, there will be performances by local music artists and dance teams, as well as spoken word performer (our hero!) showing different ways you can be a superhero to yourself, the community and the environment. Upon returning to the Cathedral of Learning Lawn, local and student organizations will be holding activities for adults and children to emphasize ways they can get involved in the community. We will have organizations such as the fire department talking about fire safety, a yoga teacher giving an impromptu class about centering oneself as well as many others. Additionally, proceeds accumulated through donations and pledges will benefit children and families in need of financial assistance with medical care through the Free Care Fund of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. In order to raise money, Super Stollers are asked to make pledge donations to benefit the Free Care Fund. Super Strollers pledging $5.00 or more will receive a Pittsburgh Super Stoll T-shirt! But please register by March 25th to be guaranteed a T-shirt at the day of our event, and we wouldn't want you to go without one!

After the stroll, there will be an awareness fair with activities for all ages and prizes for our Superhero Costume Contest. Local Pittsburgh organizations will exemplify ways to be a "Superhero to the community," a "Superhero to yourself," and a "Superhero to the Environment."

-Please no pets, skateboards, bicycles, or rollerblades allowed.

*BEST DREAM TEAM- Dress as a team of superheros in a group of 2-5 
participants
*SUPERSTYLE AWARD- Best Dressed Superhero ( 13 and over ,13 and under)
*SUPERMOM- Best Dressed Mom 
*SUPERDAD- Best Dressed Dad

Why Stroll with us?
Many of the volunteers heading this event work with children throughout the Pittsburgh area. We love to volunteer and make a difference in children's lives, but we think that it is also important for our youth to understand that despite their resources or age, it is always possible to make a difference in someone else’s life. A person never has too little to give and making a difference does not require money but mostly time and dedication. The Super Stroll will bring awareness to the community through a mass of children, families, and college students, dressed as superheroes, parading through the streets, and working towards a common goal. It will also offer participants the opportunity to truly be superhero to a child and want to further their involvement in the Pittsburgh community.
